Homemade Pi-tarts

Ingredients

  • 2 rolled up piecrusts
  • 4 tbsp. of choice such as jam
  • 1 large egg, whisked
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp. milk of choice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
  2. Roll out piecrust one at a time, on the Silicone Baking Sheet with Rim.
  3. Use back of a knife to cut the rounded edges and make a large rectangle. Then cut this into four equal shaped rectangles.
  4. Add 1 tbsp. to each rectangle and spread into an even layer.
  5. Roll out remaining piecrust, cut in same rectangular shaped then top each portion with an equal sized piece.
  6. Close the edges with a fork then brush with egg.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Meanwhile make glaze by mixing remaining ingredients in small bowl.
  9. Transfer glaze to Deco Pen and decorate pi-tarts as desired. Serve immediately.
